Nematodes are pests that summer residents and gardeners are, unfortunately, familiar with firsthand.
You can get rid of the pest using either purchased products or folk remedies.
Moreover, the latter often prove to be more effective in the fight against nematodes than chemicals.
What ingredients help get rid of nematodes
Let's start with the fact that it is necessary to choose the right time to treat the area from nematodes.
It is best to do this in October, when the harvest has already been collected and there is a minimum of work left in the garden.
To get rid of the pest, you will only need water and one of two means that are often available to summer residents and gardeners.
The first method is based on the use of ammonium nitrate. It is enough to add 100 grams of the product to 10 liters of water, mix the solution thoroughly and water the problematic beds with it.
Ammonia is no worse. Add 40-50 milliliters of ammonia to a 10-liter container of water and water the soil in the garden. Both methods allow you to forget about the nematode next season.
