During the first month of spring, it is worth planting tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, as well as leeks and celery.
And in order for the plants to sprout, you should adhere to the most optimal temperature conditions.
Expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh will advise you on what factors need to be taken into account.
Optimal temperature
All crops are divided into three types according to temperature conditions:
- cold-resistant, grown at a temperature of +14-18 degrees (all types of cabbage);
- moderately heat-loving, growing at temperatures from +16 to +18 degrees (celery and onions);
- especially heat-loving ones, which require a temperature regime of +20-24 degrees (peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, etc.).
At the same time, a certain temperature regime must be observed for certain types of seeds when sowing them.
Tomatoes are planted at a temperature of +20-25 degrees, peppers and eggplants - +25-30 degrees, cucumbers - +25-28 degrees, cabbage at +18-20 degrees, and onions and celery are planted at a temperature of +16-18 degrees.
It was previously reported what needs to be done before sowing seeds for seedlings.
