Experienced gardeners know a lot of free raw materials that can be usefully used on the site.
An example is onion peel. Very useful garbage for the dacha, of which quite a lot accumulates over the winter.
Onion peels are of double benefit to plants. Firstly, they are free fertilizer. Secondly, they are a pest control agent.
It is enough to throw 1-2 handfuls into the planting hole. When decomposed, the plants will receive nutrients, and pests will meet a barrier of natural components.
For example, wireworms don't like onion peels. They can also be used to combat aphids, codling moths, thrips and other pests.
To spray plants, prepare an infusion: pour 250 g of husk into 10 liters of water and leave for four days, strain and treat the plantings.
The infusion can also be used to water plants at the roots. Indoor flowers also respond positively to such feeding.
