When caring for plants, you should use folk remedies with caution.
After all, not all of them are equally useful, and some can even harm plants.
Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh explained whether aspirin can be used to feed cucumbers.
Gardeners' Mistake
Do not confuse acetylsalicylic acid and salicylic acid.
The first option is included in aspirin. Moreover, acetylsalicylic acid does not bring any benefit to cucumbers.
As a result, treatment with this product will not bring the desired effect.
But salicylic acid can be used to spray cucumbers. Just do it carefully so as not to burn the leaves of the plant.
How to Grow Sweet Cucumbers
To make cucumbers tasty and sweet, you need to follow a few rules.
So, it is important to plant them correctly. If the plants are located too close to each other, they may lack the necessary nutrients and moisture.
It is also worth observing the temperature regime and humidity level.
Cucumbers can grow bitter if they do not have enough moisture. Moreover, they should not be watered with too cold water.
The taste of cucumbers also depends on the variety. Some varieties, no matter how hard you try, still end up bitter.
