In August, care for cucumbers continues, because there is still a month of active fruiting ahead.
Adding fertilizer to the list of things to do will stimulate fruiting.
It is very difficult to harvest cucumbers consistently until mid-September or even until the first days of October.
But it is quite possible to get fruits until the end of August. And at such a pace that all that remains is to figure out where to put them. Fortunately, there are plenty of recipes with cucumbers.
In August, foliar feeding is applied. The solution consists of 1 tbsp. superphosphate and 1 tbsp. potassium sulfate per 10 liters of water.
An alternative option is to treat with sour milk. It should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3. It is also acceptable to use whey (the proportions are the same).
Good to know
Cucumbers can be harvested until September if the plants are grown in a greenhouse. In open ground, this is more difficult.
Cucumbers are sensitive to temperature changes. In open ground they should be covered if the temperature at night can drop below +10°C.
