Because of this, you can forget about large and strong bulbs.
You shouldn't plant garlic near onions. These plants can be susceptible to the same diseases and pests.
As a result, there is a risk that both of these crops will not grow.
A lucky neighborhood
You can plant carrots and beets near onions. Tomatoes and potatoes are also allowed next to them.
Greens, radishes and broccoli will grow well near onions.
They will saturate the soil with useful substances and protect each other from unwanted insects.
