Orchid is a rather delicate flower and difficult to care for.
With the arrival of cold weather, you may not get any flowers from the plant at all if you don’t know how to properly care for it.

Orchid care
Firstly, the flower needs a lot of light. As the daylight wanes in winter, it is necessary to move it closer to the window and provide it with an artificial light source.
Secondly, low temperatures and drafts are contraindicated for orchids. Make sure that the room temperature is kept within 18-25 degrees Celsius.
Thirdly, heating makes the air too dry for orchids. Therefore, it is recommended to place a humidifier or trays with water near the flowers.
However, as for watering, its frequency is recommended to be reduced. In winter, flowers should be watered once every 14-20 days, when the substrate dries out.
