The last thing you want to do when you bite into a juicy apple is to see a worm in it and throw the fruit away.
This is why you should resort to a number of effective methods that will help to repel the pest from the garden even at the stage of crop cultivation.
How to get rid of codling moth
The first method is to use wormwood infusion. This folk remedy can completely scare away the codling moth from trees.
To do this, you will need a bucket of fresh or 500 grams of dried wormwood, which you need to fill with boiling water to the top and leave for 24 hours.
The second method is using tobacco dust. The principle of working with it is the same as in the previous case: 150 grams of dust should be poured with boiling water, infused for a day, filtered, and then diluted to the full volume of the bucket.
In both cases, the prepared solution is used to spray apple trees.
In the third case, you can do without spraying. Try using adhesive belts, in which all garden pests will eventually get stuck, like in honey.
