There is nothing complicated about planting radishes.
But in order for the radish to grow large and juicy, it is important to take proper care of it.
Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh explained what needs to be put in a hole for a good radish harvest.
Proper fertilization
Yeast will have a positive effect on radish yield.
To prepare a solution, add one hundred grams of dry yeast to ten liters of water.
Mix thoroughly and leave for eight or even ten hours.
After this, it is enough to pour the fertilizer between the rows. As a result, the radishes will be tasty and large.
How to sow radishes
The first thing you need to do is prepare the soil properly. The bed needs to be loosened and humus added to it.
You will need half a bucket of this product per square meter.
It is not advisable to use manure. It contains a lot of nitrogen. Because of this, a void may form in the radish.
Then we make shallow furrows on the bed and place the seeds. It is advisable to lay them out at a distance of about 4 or 5 cm.
You can also mulch a bed of radishes using straw.
Earlier we talked about why pumpkins grow grassy and watery.
