In August, tomatoes need additional feeding due to the heat.
Let's figure out which three products must be added to plants.
3 Important Fertilizers for Tomatoes
To ensure that tomatoes bear fruit well, it is important to continue feeding the plants in August.
For this purpose, three inexpensive but very effective fertilizers are used.
The first feeding is potassium humate. 3 caps of the product should be mixed in 10 liters of water and the bushes should be watered generously, repeating the procedure every 10 days.
The second remedy is a mixture of succinic and boric acids. To prepare the fertilizer, take 4 tablets of succinic acid and 10 grams of boric acid per 1 bucket of water and feed the tomatoes twice in August.
The third feeding depends on the weather. When rainy weather sets in, it is necessary to treat the plants from fungal diseases and pests in order not to lose the harvest.
If the plants are withering, then green fertilizer prepared from fermented nettles or any other weeds is used.
