Zucchini is a favorite crop of many gardeners.
They are quite easy to care for, and you can make a lot of tasty, healthy preparations for the whole winter.
There is only one drawback that mars the joy of growing this vegetable – relatively late fruiting, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
Experts say that for accelerated fruiting, zucchini requires conditions as close to the tropics as possible.
But, since this is impossible to achieve in the middle zone, other methods must be used. For example, planting in special "houses" with biological heating and solar heating.
How to make such "houses"
In the most illuminated place of the plot, you need to dig square holes 50 by 50 cm. In this case, the upper (fertile) layer of soil should be poured to one side, and the lower one to the other.
At the bottom of each hole you need to place a mixture of two buckets of manure and compost.
Then, fill the remaining space to the top (20-25 cm) with fertile soil. You can also add mineral fertilizers to the top layer.
After the “foundation” is ready, you need to take a cone-shaped bucket (or another similar device), turn it over, put it on the prepared place and sprinkle it with infertile soil from the outside.
The resulting border should be about 20 cm high. After compacting the soil a little, carefully pull out the bucket and cover the resulting “house” with film on top.
This method of planting zucchini allows you to get fruits 2-3 weeks earlier than usual.
