Often, summer residents plant the same plants in a greenhouse from year to year.
As a result, the soil loses nutrients and becomes depleted.
Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told us about the methods that can be used to increase soil fertility in a greenhouse.
We plant green manure
Green manure will help saturate the soil with essential nutrients.
These plants should be planted after all the crops have been harvested.
In the greenhouse you can sow rapeseed, radish or mustard.
Cruciferous crops have a positive effect on the soil, disinfecting and improving it.
In autumn, winter rye can also be sown. And in spring, it needs to be mown and incorporated into the soil.
Incorporating this crop will have the same effect as adding compost.
We use organics
Manure or well-rotted compost also helps improve the soil condition.
They can be applied both in autumn and spring. About ten liters of the product will be required per square meter.
Thanks to the microelements that they contain, the soil will become loose and fertile.
We bring in manure without a cow
Cow manure affects the condition of the soil, improving it. But this effect can be achieved without this animal.
The grass needs to be mown. And it needs to be quite small.
We place it in a barrel or bucket and fill it with water. This product should stand for some time.
You can add the "Shine" preparation to this mixture. You will need 100 grams of the product per 10 liters of water. This will enhance the fermentation process.
