Moss and lichen can become a real threat to garden paths.
This is because plants quickly absorb moisture, which is destructive for concrete structures.
Together with the expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , we figure out how to get rid of harmful plants on the site once and for all.
4 Ways to Get Rid of Moss
There are several ways to get rid of unwanted hair.
The first is mechanical, which involves removing moss and lichen using a spatula or scraper. Keep in mind that you need to act carefully to prevent the plants from growing back.
The second method involves chemical removal of plants. Unwanted vegetation is treated with a solution of ferrous sulfate: 0.5 liters of ferrous sulfate is needed for 10 liters of liquid.
Another effective method is to use a high pressure washer.
However, the best way to get rid of moss is to combine the above methods, for example, mechanical cleaning or washing, and then treatment with a solution of ferrous sulfate.
