Of course, now you can find many different types of fertilizers on the shelves, even outside of specialized stores.
However, in some cases, spending money on them is foolish, since we throw away valuable biological material every day that would help our plants.
Here's what our certified agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh thinks about this.
Types of Fertilizers
Of course, there are a great many of them, and for some plants you need to buy special fertilizers. With increased acidity, fluorine, calcium, and the like.
Affordable Home Fertilizer
We are talking about simple eggshells, which are very rich in calcium and more. Most plants respond well to this type of feeding.
Preparation and use of fertilizer
All you need to learn once and for all is that eggshells must be thoroughly washed before crushing, and possibly left in cold water for several days.
Then, using a blender or coffee grinder, grind the shells and store them in a glass container in a dark place.
The only thing is that such feeding will not be useful for all house plants, for example, it is harmful for pelagonias, azaleas and violets. So, from the beginning, you need to thoroughly study the issue.
