By the end of summer, the pear tree's fruits begin to actively ripen.
In order to improve fruiting, it is important to properly care for fruit trees.
If you have already picked the fruit from the tree, then you will need to treat the pear with fungicides and insecticides to protect it from possible pests and diseases.
In order for the root system to develop more intensively, it is necessary to add fertilizers containing phosphorus. At the same time, plants do not need nitrogen-containing fertilizers before wintering.
By the end of August, the following must be paid:
- superphosphate (one and a half tablespoons of fertilizer per 10 liters of water);
- potassium sulfate (the concentration is the same as in the case of superphosphate);
- wood ash, which can be simply dusted onto trees or an infusion made from ash can be added under the pear tree at a concentration of 500 grams per 10 liters of water.
If the summer was too cold or you didn't keep an eye on it and the pear suffered from pests, then it needs complex fertilizing. The main thing is that it doesn't contain nitrogen.
