Problems with basil
For example, summer residents may encounter the problem that when seedlings emerge, the seed coat does not fall off.
This problem is typical for seedlings from old seeds and it is worth taking a radical approach to eliminating it, simply getting rid of such sprouts.
It also happens that basil sprouts lie down. The reason may be a black leg infection or insufficient watering.
In the first case, it is worth getting rid of the infected plants along with the soil in which they grew, and in the second case, adjust the moisture content of the sprouts.
When growing basil, you may encounter stretching and pale seedlings. In both cases, the plants may not have enough light, and therefore it is worth considering purchasing a special phytolamp for seedlings.
