Indoor flowers are an integral part of the interior, and in addition, they also filter the air.

But sometimes gardeners make a fatal mistake by literally flooding their plants.

Damp soil in pots is a favorable place not only for mold, but also for midges, which prefer to lay eggs in such soil.

The sight of scurrying insects is not something anyone would like, so you need to get rid of the uninvited guests.

Expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told about a trick that will allow you to clear the soil of midges.

The first remedy is wood ash. You need to sprinkle the soil with it, and then loosen it slightly with any convenient handy object.

For a pot with a diameter of 15 cm, you will need about 1 teaspoon of ash.

The second option is pine needles. They need to be scattered in a thin layer over the soil surface.

This will create unfavorable conditions for midges, which will soon begin to leave the pots.

Earlier we talked about what attracts mosquitoes to the site.
