Late blight is a dangerous disease of nightshades, which can cause a complete loss of the harvest.
Therefore, the best solution is prevention.
Several solutions based on penny products that are always at hand are always ready to come to the aid of summer residents and gardeners.
Protecting tomatoes from late blight
To prevent infection from affecting your plants, treat tomatoes with the following solutions 2-3 times per season.
The first is prepared on the basis of iodine. For a 10-liter bucket, 30 drops of the drugstore product are enough, after which the plants are sprayed with this mixture.
The second method is to treat tomatoes with a water solution with the addition of milk. For a ten-liter bucket of water, you will need 1 liter of milk and 10 drops of iodine.
A yeast solution is also very helpful in the fight against late blight. Dissolve 100 grams of yeast in 10 liters of warm water, mix and dilute with water in a ratio of 1:10.
You can also treat with a garlic-based infusion. For 5 liters of water, take 100 grams of finely chopped garlic, stir the solution and let it sit for 24 hours.
And one more recipe is a saline solution, which is prepared by dissolving 200 grams of salt in 10 liters of water.
