Fertilizing will prolong the quality flowering of geraniums (pelargoniums) until the end of summer.
This flower is not one of the picky ones, but sometimes there are problems with it too.
But many of them can be solved by feeding. The folk remedy will stimulate flowering.
The following composition shows a high result: 100 ml of milk per 1 liter of water. Mix and apply under the root.
Black tea is also used as a top dressing: 1 spoon of tea leaves is poured with boiling water, infused for 5 minutes. The tea is drunk, and the tea leaves are put into the pot.
But first the soil needs to be loosened a little. And the tea leaves are not simply dumped, but mixed with the soil. Otherwise a crust will form, through which air will pass worse.
If folk remedies do not inspire confidence, there are always special formulations. The required volumes of all macro- and microelements are already verified there. All that remains is to apply according to the instructions.
Good to know
If the leaves of pelargonium acquire a pale yellow color, it means that the plant has chlorosis.
In this case, complex mineral fertilizer and magnesium sulfate will come to the rescue. It would not be superfluous to transplant the flower into another pot with new soil.
