It is not always necessary to rush out and get rid of the stump left over from an old tree.
There is no need to cover it with chemicals or uproot it with special equipment, and even more so, strain yourself wielding a shovel or an axe.
There is a simple solution to what to do with a stump on the site. It does not require much effort, time and money.
You will only need a little fertilizer. It is better to take nitrogen. Then, a hole is made in the stump itself. It is better to do this with a drill (the thicker, the better) and in the center of the stump.
Fertilizer is poured into this hole. If the weather is rainy, then nothing is done. If it is dry, then the fertilizer is moistened.
When the first portion of nitrogen has been absorbed, add the second, and then cover with something waterproof for the entire winter (film, brick, basin, bucket, etc.).
In spring, when the snow melts, add nitrogen again and close it. By about May, the wood will become rotten and you can make a kind of flower pot.
You can plant petunia, lobelia, pelargonium.
If you don't want to bother with creating such a pot, you can take a ready-made one. It's even easier. But it's important to take one with drainage holes.
The principle is the same. It will be beautiful for a few years, and then all that will remain of the stump will be rot, which can be easily gotten rid of.
If the stump itself does not look very nice, it can be decorated with climbing plants. It turns out to be an improvised flower bed.
