At the end of summer, raspberry bushes require increased attention from the owners of the plot.
If you neglect a few simple operations, you may not see any berries on the bushes next year.
Let's figure out what needs to be done to ensure that raspberries continue to bear fruit intensively.
3 simple operations
First, you need to inspect the bushes externally. This is necessary to detect branches that are starting to dry out in time.
The thing is that if you leave them on the bush, the plant will continue to supply them with nutrients, that is, it will work in vain. Pruning is recommended to be done immediately after fruiting.
Secondly, do not forget to water the bushes. Old bushes require about 4 buckets, young ones - up to two. Raspberries are watered every 10 days.
Thirdly, after fruiting, the plant needs nutrients. Ash will help you with this: you will need 100 grams of powder for each bush.
You can also feed the berry bush with humus or compost.
