It often happens that cucumbers are covered with flowers, but the harvest is quite meager.
It's all about the lack of pollination, and even expensive varieties can suffer from this.
Let's figure out how to get rid of barren flowers and get a bountiful harvest, which will then have nowhere to go.
How to get rid of barren flowers
Even if the packaging says that the variety is self-pollinating, in practice this may not be the case.
In this case, a can of air will come to your aid. Go to each plant in the area, spray it and the flowers growing on the cucumber so that cross-pollination occurs.
After this, the effect needs to be consolidated with a growth regulator called "Zircon". Two grams of fertilizer per liter of water and watering with this solution once a week is enough to get rid of barren flowers and wait until the plants have many ovaries.
Earlier we wrote about how to increase the cucumber harvest several times.
