To ensure a good grape harvest, it is important to plant the right plants next to it.
After all, proximity to some crops may be harmful to it.
Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about dangerous neighbors for grapes.
These plants cannot be planted
The proximity to cucumbers has a strong effect on grapes, and not in the best way.
Because of this, the plant's yield can decrease many times over.
It is also not recommended to plant potatoes or tomatoes near grapes. Otherwise, the condition of the vineyard may deteriorate significantly.
This plant can also be harmed by proximity to calendula. Grapes will not like to grow near peppers or carrots.
Experienced gardeners do not plant sunflowers or corn near the vineyard. These plants can take nutrients from the soil that the vine needs.
Grapes will not grow well next to some herbs. This applies in particular to parsley. Horseradish and celery should not be planted next to each other.
It is also important to ensure that there are no weeds near the vines.
