The money tree is a fairly unpretentious plant, which, nevertheless, requires feeding.
The plant needs four microelements: phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen and calcium.
Let's figure out how to achieve lush growth of the fat plant without resorting to expensive fertilizers.
How to feed a money tree
The first thing that comes to the aid of the plant is eggshells. They can be added directly to the soil or an infusion can be made from the shells: dilute a glass of powder with 2-3 liters of water and leave for a week and a half, then water once a month.
Banana peel is also used as an infusion and as a fertilizer, which is placed directly into the soil. The second method is easier to use.
An effective fertilizer can also be prepared using regular baker's yeast. 10 grams of yeast, infused in two liters of water for 24 hours, is enough to feed the plant.
Another useful fertilizer is wood ash. 25 grams of powder are poured with 200 milliliters of water, infused for a day and watered once a month. A simpler method is to sprinkle the soil with ash: this way it will give up microelements during each watering.
