Information that a Lada Granta car can be purchased in Egypt for 535–695 thousand rubles is not true, TASS reports.
The company stated that AvtoVAZ does not currently supply its cars to Egypt. There is no local production either.
The company representatives called the information disseminated “an amateur activity of an Egyptian company unknown to us.”
Telegram channels that spread this news published screenshots of the YallaMotor dealer page. This company operates in Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar.
But AvtoVAZ claims that it does not cooperate with this company and does not supply it with its cars, including Lada Granta.
The information attracted the attention of Russians against the background of the fact that prices for new Granta cars in the Russian Federation start from 700 thousand rubles.
