Türkiye is actively developing economic and trade relations with Russia, despite anti-Russian sanctions.

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş expressed the opinion that these sanctions are a serious obstacle to the development of bilateral relations.

Kurtulmuş, at a meeting with the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, stated that Turkey does not support Western sanctions against Russia, RIA Novosti writes.

He stressed that restrictions prevent entrepreneurs from developing economic relations.
