Almost all financial institutions in Turkey are seeking to stop cooperating with Russia.
It is likely that soon only one local bank will be able to conduct transactions with the Russian Federation.
A source working in the Turkish financial consulting industry told TASS about this.
According to the expert, now almost all Turkish banks are trying to abandon financial transactions related to Russia and Belarus.
They are forced to take this step by fear of potential sanctions that could be imposed in the future on financial transactions involving funds from the Russian Federation and Belarus.
According to the agency's source, only one financial institution in Turkey will participate in the transactions. This is the Emlak Katılım bank, where the expert advised citizens and Belarusians to contact if they do not want their payments to be reversed by other banks.
This financial organization operates on the ruble/Turkish lira scheme, and therefore the commission on transactions can reach 5-6%.
