As a result of the introduction of the procedure for extrajudicial collection of payments and fines, regions will receive 22.5 billion rubles.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the new mechanism for collecting debts on property taxes and personal income tax will help replenish the budgets of the subjects.
The idea of simplified collection was first discussed in June 2024. The bill was later revised taking into account public discussion.
The explanatory note states that the new scheme will reduce the burden on the courts and relieve citizens from unnecessary legal costs.
The deadline for implementing the new procedure was linked to December 1, the last day for paying property taxes.
During the transition period, Russians will have the opportunity to check their debts and challenge them if necessary.
