The State Duma adopted a bill at a plenary session that allows for the receipt of unspent maternity capital.
It is indicated that the amount of the requested maternity capital should not exceed 10 thousand Russian rubles.
It is reported that the corresponding decree was adopted today, July 24, at a meeting in the third, final reading, as reported by RIA Novosti .
In addition, the bill states that maternity capital will be available for receipt as a one-time payment.
Adoption of regulatory legal acts
As follows from the regulatory legal act, the Social Fund will take on the responsibility of independently notifying parents of their right to receive the specified benefit.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the families who won the “It’s Family” competition.
The proposal to pay families the remainder of the maternity capital in the amount of up to 10 thousand rubles was voiced directly by the head of state.
