The value of the American currency in Russia has exceeded the psychological mark of 100 rubles.
The updated exchange rate for November 20 was provided by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The regulator's website states that on Wednesday the cost of $1 in Russia will be 100.03 rubles (+0.09 rubles).
The US currency rose to this level for the first time in more than a year.
On November 19, according to the exchange rate set by the Bank of Russia, the dollar cost 99.94 rubles.
The European currency has gained a little. The euro has already crossed the hundred-ruble zone and was trading at 105.46 rubles on November 19.
On November 20, the value of EUR will be 105.73 rubles (+0.27 rubles).
The US dollar began to strengthen after it became known that Donald Trump had won the presidential election.
For about two weeks now, the American currency has been strengthening in Russia and other countries.
