Experts have revealed what you will have to spend the most on when preparing the New Year's table in 2024.
A study on this topic was conducted by the O'Key hypermarket chain.
The most expensive items today are sausages, cheese and alcoholic beverages, TASS reports.
Sausage took first place in this list. The average price of this product is 600–800 rubles per 1 kg.
On average, there are 200 grams of sausage per person. That comes out to 120 to 160 rubles, analysts calculated.
Next comes alcohol. The experts used domestically produced wines as a basis.
For example, Crimean or Krasnodar products will cost on average 500–800 rubles for 0.75 l.
Cheese is in 3rd place in terms of cost.
Domestic products will cost buyers an average of 700 rubles per 1 kg.
Analysts also summed up the costs of preparing the New Year's table.
On average, it comes to 6 thousand rubles or 1.5 thousand rubles per person.
You can save from 30% to 50% if you buy products from Russian manufacturers.
In addition, experts calculated the cost of popular dishes.
For example, Olivier salad will cost 150 rubles per person.
The famous “Herring under a fur coat” is a little cheaper – 120 rubles, and sandwiches with red caviar – 200 rubles.
Baked chicken will cost more – 250 rubles per person.
