Finance Minister Anton Siluanov spoke about increasing pensions for working pensioners.
From January 2025, pensions will be increased by 7.3 percent.
At a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, Siluanov noted that the indexation will affect both working and non-working pensioners. This was reported by the State Duma of the Russian Federation .
Increasing pensions will help protect working pensioners from rising inflation.
Pensions are planned to be indexed by 7.3 percent from January.
The indexation of payments will occur automatically in the new year. Additional applications from pensioners will not be required.
The minister also mentioned plans for a children's budget of up to 10 trillion rubles over three years.
Of this amount, 4 trillion rubles will be allocated to pay child benefits.
