An unusual list of notifications on the pledge of movable property of the Federal Notary Chamber has become known.
It includes animals, video cards, toys for adults, electric scooters, boats and equipment.
Experts explain that in conditions of expensive loans, people are forced to pledge any property in order to receive money, RBC exclusively writes.
Russian citizens and businesses use unusual items as collateral.
The register includes jewelry, expensive watches, farm animals, as well as sheep and cows, intimate toys, snowmobiles, boats and airplanes.
Experts have found that over the past year the number of such pledges has increased sharply – by 13 percent.
Cars are most often used as collateral. The number of pledged electric scooters has also increased significantly.
In total, 2.3 million new entries were added to the notary register from January to August of this year.
This figure is 35 percent higher than for the first eight months of last year.
According to experts, the growth may be associated with the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
