A family of five bought the most expensive trip to Turkey in 2024.
The President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RUTI) Ilya Umansky spoke about it.
He spoke on this topic during a press conference on the results of the summer season, which was hosted by Izvestia .
A family from Russia spent 28 million rubles on a vacation in Turkey. Umansky said that it was a trip to Kemer. The tour lasted a month.
In 2023, the most expensive trip to Turkey cost 24.5 million rubles. It was purchased by a family of 6 people.
The tourists stayed at the Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort 5* in Antalya Province. They vacationed there for 67 days – from late April to early July.
This price included direct flights and ultra all-inclusive meals.
Umansky said that the demand for domestic tourism is increasing in the Russian Federation. In January-August, domestic tourists made 65 million trips around Russia.
This is 24% more than in the first eight months of 2023.
