The list of systemically important credit institutions of the Russian Federation has been approved.
According to the Bank of Russia, the list included 13 banks.
The list approved by the regulator has remained unchanged since 2023, the Bank of Russia said in a statement.
There are thirteen systemically important credit institutions on the list.
About 79% of all banking assets in the country belong to these financial institutions.
Central Bank List
According to the Central Bank, the list included 13 credit institutions:
- Unicredit, Gazprombank, Sovcombank, VTB, Alfa Bank, Sberbank, MKB, Otkritie Bank, Rosbank, T-Bank, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank and Rosselkhozbank.
The Central Bank last adjusted the list in 2021. Then the list was expanded by adding T-Bank.
The Central Bank of the Russian Federation has been maintaining a list of banks since 2015.
The regulator defines systemically important organizations. The main selection criteria are assets, volume of deposits and transactions.
