Experts have named the size of the average Russian citizen's bank deposit.
Analytical data was shared by specialists from the Deposit Insurance Agency and the Finuslugi platform.
As of October 1, 2024, the average size of a Russian citizen’s deposit was 370 thousand rubles, writesRossiyskaya Gazeta .
At the same time, analysts note that the average deposit amount of a citizen of retirement age is 507.2 thousand rubles.
In Moscow this value is higher – 625.3 thousand rubles.
If we take into account all the deposits of the average pensioner-depositor, the average amount reaches almost 2 million rubles.
Experts also pointed out that the share of elderly Russians in the total number of depositors reaches 15%.
