In the first half of 2024, textile production increased in the Moscow region. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region and Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zinovieva.
It is noted that, compared to the same period in 2023, the production of textile products this year has grown by more than 25%.
According to the press service, over the past six months, Moscow region enterprises have increased their production of clothing by 16.3%.
Zinovieva noted that against the backdrop of an increase in the textile products segment, the volume of production of enterprises involved in textile finishing increased by 1.5 times in the first 6 months.
It is added that experts noted an increase in the production of not only knitted but also crocheted goods.
