Russian billionaire German Khan was unable to transfer $23 million to his relatives.

He tried to do this after February 2022, but the Swiss bank blocked these funds.

A Swiss court, after considering Khan's claim, ruled that his funds remain frozen in the country, Handelszeitung writes.

Herman Khan wanted to transfer about $23 million in donations to his wife, daughter and her husband, a Dutch lawyer.

However, after the start of the SVO, the bank in Switzerland said that this money would remain blocked.

The name of the bank involved in Khan's case has not been disclosed.

It is reported that the financial institution itself made the decision to block the Russian's account. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs was then notified of this.

Russian businessman Khan was sanctioned by the EU and UK in March 2022, and by the US in August 2023.
