Shoe production has increased in the Moscow Region. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region and Minister Ekaterina Zinovieva.
It is noted that, compared to the first half of last year, in the same period of 2024, production increased by more than 74%.
According to Zinovieva, there is also an increase in the production of leather goods. It has increased by more than 50%.
The press service noted that the growth also affected other light industry enterprises. Over the first 6 months of this year, clothing production rose by 16.3%. Enterprises engaged in textile products also increased their volumes.
