Russian citizens will be able to receive their pension savings in one lump sum if their amount does not exceed 412 thousand rubles.
From 2025, this will become possible thanks to a change in the payment threshold.
Currently, this maximum is 351 thousand rubles, but it will be increased by 17%, the Ministry of Labor reported, Izvestia writes.
The increase is due to a change in the calculation of payments. Now the amount is determined from 10% of the pensioner's subsistence minimum, and not from 5% of the pension, as before.
Increasing the threshold will allow more citizens to immediately withdraw their savings.
According to the Social Fund, about 713 thousand people will be able to receive such a payment in 2025.
The average one-time payment will be 63 thousand rubles.
In 2024, Russians can withdraw their pension savings in a lump sum of up to 351 thousand rubles.
In 2025, the maximum amount after the increase will be up to 412 thousand.
