In the near future, household appliances will start to become more expensive in Russia.
Prices will rise by approximately ten percent already in December-January.
Manufacturers of household appliances have already sent out corresponding notifications to retail chains, writes the Kommersant newspaper.
Several factors force manufacturers to raise prices for their goods.
Thus, the reasons cited include the increase in the cost of components. There is also talk about the growth of the exchange rate and increased logistics costs.
Products manufactured under the brands Tefal, Rowenta, Krups, Beko, Indesit, Grundig and others will become more expensive.
Some manufacturers will increase prices as early as December. Others will begin selling their goods at new prices from January 1, 2025.
At the end of November, the Russian ruble weakened significantly against the US dollar and the euro.
On November 29, the Central Bank again raised the exchange rate of the American currency. On Friday, its price will be 109.57 rubles. The euro will rise in price to 116.14 rubles.
At the same time, the Bank of Russia stated that additional measures were taken aimed at strengthening the national currency.
