Junior research fellow at the Institute of Applied Economic Research of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Alexandra Osavoliuk spoke about the new annual family payment.
According to the expert, families with two or more children will be able to apply for this benefit.
At the same time, as Osavoliuk asserts, the income in such families should not be more than 1.5 times the subsistence minimum, as reported by RIA Novosti .
The economist added: “The payment will be available for receipt from 2026.”
New benefit
It is also emphasized that the calculation of income will be carried out using one twelfth of the total amount of income.
In particular, we are talking about the amount that was received by a particular married couple during the reporting period per number of family members.
Osavolyuk also noted that families will have the opportunity to return part of the taxes paid last year in the amount of 7 percent of their income.
Moreover, the personal income tax rate for this category of citizens will be 6 percent, rather than the traditional 13 percent.
