Russians have identified a comfortable income level for themselves that will allow them to refuse loans.
A study on this topic was conducted by the online financial platform Webbankir.
The majority of respondents (21.9%) said that ₽100,000 was an acceptable amount, RIA Novosti reports.
Almost the same number (19.4%) of respondents said that they need a monthly income of ₽250,000 to live without loans.
12.3% and 12.2% of respondents named the amounts of ₽150,000 and ₽200,000, respectively.
Nine percent reported that they would be able to live without loans with a monthly income of ₽50,000.
6.5% admitted that they could manage without loans even with a salary of less than ₽50,000.
At the same time, more than 18% of Russians believe that it is possible to get by without loans at any income level.
But over 50% indicated that force majeure situations cannot be ruled out, when, regardless of income level, personal funds may not be enough and it will not be possible to manage without a loan.
