Russians named the level of monthly income at which they would take out a mortgage.
A study on this topic was conducted by Level Group.
Almost half of those surveyed believe that it is reasonable to take out a mortgage if the salary is 300 thousand rubles per month, Lenta.ru reports.
Another 30% said that they have enough income of up to 150 thousand rubles to service their mortgage loan.
Every fifth Russian believes that buying an apartment on credit is only justified if the salary is 500 thousand rubles.
75% of respondents reported that they have a monthly income of up to 150 thousand rubles.
23% said that their salary is 300 thousand rubles per month.
It also became known that 70% of respondents were able to save up for the first installment over a period of one to three years.
Another 17 percent said it took them 3-5 years to do so. Eight percent said they had enough money for a down payment more than 5 years after they started saving.
3% admitted that they had been raising funds for more than 10 years, and only 2% of respondents needed less than 12 months to raise the required amount.
