A new poll shows that more than half of Russians are OK with the idea of introducing a four-day work week.

4.5 thousand people shared their opinions in October 2024.

75% of Russians have a positive attitude towards the four-day work week, according to the results of a study conducted by the publication NEWS.ru.

The main argument for shortening the work week is the ability to reduce the level of stress in life.

In addition, people believe that three days off will help avoid burnout.

18% of respondents see no reason to shorten the working week. They believe that the five-day week should be maintained in order to avoid a negative impact on the economy.

5% of respondents admitted that they can work without days off.

2% said they work for themselves and determine the number of working hours per week.

In Russia, the possibility of replacing the five-day week with a four-day week is periodically discussed, but experts believe that this could have a negative impact on both the country's economy and enterprises in particular.
