Denis Buivolov, analyst at BCS World of Investments, commented on how the ruble will behave in the next three months.
According to him, the official ruble to dollar exchange rate may remain within the range of 90–92 rubles.
“In the third quarter, the exchange rate of the Russian currency to the dollar will reach the range of 90-92 rubles,” Buivolov said in a conversation withIzvestia .
The expert predicts that the authorities’ further work will be aimed at strengthening the ruble exchange rate.
Against this background, currency interventions may be reduced in the second half of the year.
The expert also recalled that Russia has a flexible regulation on the sale of export proceeds by exporters.
According to Buivolov, the above practices will have a positive impact on stabilizing the ruble exchange rate.
