A brand inspired by advanced Russian weapons may appear in Russia.
Rospatent received an application to register the trademark "Oreshnik".
The applicant intends to sell alcoholic beverages under this name, RIA Novosti reports.
In particular, it is planned to produce wine, whiskey, vodka, liqueurs and other alcoholic beverages under this brand.
The applicant is listed as Maksim Goncharuk. The document was filed on November 22, the day after Vladimir Putin announced the successful combat use of the Oreshnik ballistic missile.
On the same day, it was reported that T-shirts with the image of the Russian president and the inscription “Strong Nut” went on sale.
Meanwhile, the West has reacted ambiguously to Russia's new weapon.
