The head of state approved a new law concerning the calculation of pensions for former military personnel.
The document clarifies the procedure for calculating pension payments to former military personnel and employees of law enforcement agencies.
After signing, the law was published on the official website of legal information.
Vladimir Putin approved the decision that from 2025 the size of the monetary allowance will be 89.83%. In 2024, this figure is 89.32%.
When calculating a pension, length of service and work experience also play an important role.
The coefficient of the size of the monetary allowance is also taken into account, which will be increased by 0.51% for 2025. The decision will come into effect as early as January 1.
In addition, on October 1, Russia indexed payments for former military personnel by 5.1%.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the average military pension is 41,600 rubles.
