Putin approved a law on payments to working Russians with two or more children

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a bill according to which working Russians with two or more children will receive annual preferential payments.

It is emphasized that the main condition stated is the presence of a family income not exceeding 1.5 subsistence minimums.

From the text of the relevant document, posted on the website of the official publication of the regulatory legal act , it follows: “Russians permanently residing in the Russian Federation will be able to receive the benefit.”

It is extremely important that applicants are tax residents of Russia.

Certain conditions

It is also emphasized that the amount of the preferential payment will be fixed.

The regulatory legal act explains: “The size is defined as a specific difference.”

In particular, we are talking about the difference between the amount of the calculated personal income tax without applying other tax deductions for the year before applying for payment and the amount calculated from the same income.

The rate of the second amount should be on average 6 percent.
