According to the senator, the West continues to adhere to its policy of unilateral sanctions even though it is not working.
Such actions by countries unfriendly to Russia are beneficial to them in order to continue to exert pressure and pour out a stream of incessant accusations against the Kremlin.
Nevertheless, Pushkov emphasized that although the West is trying to “shut the mouths” of supporters of normalizing relations with the Russian Federation, there are significantly more of them than it might seem at first glance.
Pushkov also recalled the growing influence of BRICS in the world. And since Moscow plays a key role in this organization, Western forces have not succeeded and will not succeed in the future in achieving their goals with the help of anti-Russian sanctions.
